Keighley Albion u-14s 26, Sheffield Hillsborough Hawks u-14s 10

HARLEY Robertshaw claimed a hat-trick as Keighley Albion signed off for the summer with a satisfying revenge victory over a Sheffield Hillsborough Hawks side who had inflicted their heaviest defeat of the season four weeks previously.

Charlie Heath's early converted try gave the Keighley youngsters a lead they were never to relinquish, despite a quick response from the visitors.

It was then that two dazzling scores showed the home side's intent, with Robertshaw scoring both.

Ciaran Bartlett's 50-metre run set up Robertshaw for Albion's second try, before Robertshaw's impressive speed down the flank from halfway took him over the line with the opposition unable to get in a serious challenge.

A defensive lapse allowed the Hawks to claw it back to 14-10 at the interval but Albion pulled away again to seal victory with further tries from Harry Webster, Josh Whitcombe and Robertshaw's third.

The final match awards before the holidays went to Robertshaw, Heath and Jonny Dopson.
