MEWIES Solicitors Craven League Division One leaders Bingley Congs were emphatic winners at Shires Lane.

Aussie Sam Porter (63) led the Beckfoot Lane side to 207, with Haroon Ali taking 4-66.

But without Elliot Stockton’s 49 not out the hosts' innings would have been pathetic.

They totalled 81, which included six ducks, in just 21 overs as Matt Roberts tore through them to finish with 6-25.

Haworth are just one point behind the leaders after they recorded a 128-run victory at The Coliseum.

The Bronte side rattled up 238-1, with Jamie Rowell hitting a superb 126 not out (eight fours, nine sixes) and Pete Gower making 73, the pair putting on 181 for the first wicket.

Only No 8 Martyn Dalby (40) then offered much resistance as Cowling closed on 110.

Crossflatts are third after seeing off Haworth Road by 82 runs at Ryshworth  Park.

Austin Smith (74) and Vikram Bakshi (69) took the home side to 193-8, and the Baildon Bottom side were deeply indebted to Will Forrest (83) in reaching 111 in reply as Mohammed Jamil took 3-21 and Bakshi 3-38.

Probably the innings of the day, however, came at Street Lane, where Ingrow St John’s recovered from 60-7 to reach 185.

Nadeem Safdar smashed ten sixes and nine fours in a brilliant 104 to go with Nadeem Zaman’s 35, Richard Walker finishing with 6-69 and James MacDonald 4-42.

Then spin king Wasim Hussain claimed 5-37 and Safdar 3-10 as Sutton closed on 125.

Denholme’s Ryan Judson 4-23 and Cameron Foster 3-15 helped visitors Foulridge back to the hut for a modest 48 at Bradford Road, Matt Wear (29no) and Adam Taylor (18no) taking the hosts to a ten-wicket victory.

There was a nail-biting finish at Cure Hill, where Riddlesden were the visitors.

Aftab Khan's 95 in 56 balls (11 sixes, two fours) helped the Grange Road side to 202-8, with Jack Davison taking 3-29.

The home side were always in the hunt, thanks to Ben Howell (71) and Adam Smith (32).

Off the penultimate ball, however, wicket-keeper Jamie Fulwood pulled off a spectacular diving run out to leave Oakworth on 198 all out.

It was Riddlesden’s first win of the season and took them out of the bottom two.

Division Two leaders Hepworth and Idle had few problems in seeing off Ingrow St John’s II, Dave Matthews (5-30) and Matt Buchan (5-32) having the Saints back in the hut for 63.

Tom Hawksworth (31) led the victory charge, which was successful for the loss of just two wickets.

Wilsden are second after beating Glusburn by 174 runs at Windy Grove.

No 7 Sam Mitchell (85) and Rafaquat Mehmood (46no) helped the hosts to 217-9 as veteran Bryan Hollis took 4-74.

Mitchell then took 5-19 and Chris Mitchell 3-15 as the Park Field side slumped to 43 all out.

Third-placed Haworth Road II beat Airedale by five runs at Baildon Bottom.

Kristian Hargreaves (38no) was the mainstay of the home side’s 161-9 as Saqid Javaid claimed 5-31.

The Bradford Road side were 121-4 but collapsed to 156 all out, Mathew Cox making 48 as Shahid Mahmood took 4-49 and Ali Asguar 4-49.

There was another close finish at Ingrow.

Mark Price made 27 as the Hainworth side posted 101, ith Andy Booth 4-29 and Jonny Lockley 4-46 doing the damage with the ball.

The Ribble Valley side were then dismissed for 94,with Dan Scott taking 4-24 and Aaron Pearce 4-49.

Shuja Rashid 104 (11 fours, five sixes) was instrumental in Barrowford making 253-8 at the Bull Holme.

Visitors Oakworth II only made 119 in reply, with Lewis Wrathall top-scoring with 46 as Junaid Khan took 4-21.

After a barren start to the season, Bradley won for the second week running.

They entertained Thornton, the west Craveners posting 144, with Dan Oldfield making 46 as Vince Grant took 5-31 and James Heseltine 4-31.

The Matthew Lane side got home by one wicket, thanks mainly to Neil Andrews (77).

Division Three front-runners Long Lee made 148 at Golden View, with Richard Ayrton top scoring with 38.

Visitors Eldwick & Gilstead replied with 125, being undone by evergreen Jamie Robinson (6-19) as Chris Child made 47.

Sandy Lane are second, entertaining Denholme II and winning by 115 runs.

The Greenwood Park side made 186-7, of which Zahir Shah contributed 45 not out and Ali Chaudrhy 45.

The Bradford Road side replied with 71 as Ashfaq Ali took 3-1 in one over and Farhan Khalid 3-24.

Cononley are third after a quick win at Riddlesden.

Matt Phillips (4-11) and Lewie Fitton (3-11) had the Grange Road side back in the hut for 76.

Then Andrew Starkey (45no) saw the south Craveners to a fine nine-wicket win.

Gargrave stuttered to 106, with John Beckwith making 36 as 16-year-old George Maloney took 5-26.

Visitors Embsay II needed an unbeaten 37 for the ninth wicket by Bob Bateman (45no) and Simon Holt (22no) to see them over the line by two wickets.

Bingley Congs II entertained Crossflatts II and beat them by four wickets.

Sam Smith (44 and 3-8) was Skipton CI’s man of the match at Bradford & Bingley III.

The Sandylanders posted 101 before knocking the Wagon Lane side over for 42, with John Stuttard (3-19) also in the wickets.

Foulridge II lead Division 4A & 4B after overwhelming Oakworth III by 230 runs at Noyna.

Zain Abbas hit a splendid 119 to go with Tamoor Munir’s 46 as the hosts  rattled up a massive 289-9, with Oliver Bishop taking 3-36.

Graham Fothergill (27) was the mainstay of the Cure Hill side's 59 all out as Mohammed Khan took 4-13.

Sandy Lane II are a point behind after they overcame Ingrow II by six wickets at Hainworth.

Chatburn II are third after winning by six runs at Airedale II.

Mick Hawkes (37) helped the Ribble Valley side to 101 before veteran Rod Booth took 4-24 to help restricted the home side to 95.

Barrowford overcame Glusburn II by seven wickets at Park Field.

The hosts made a respectable 179-7, with Akram Javaid making 43, but  Mohammed Waqas (65) and Hamid Bakhsh (46) took the Bull Holme side to the spoils.

In an inter-divisional game, Sutton II lost out to 4B Wilsden II by 11 runs.

Craig Sanderson (4-28) was the best bowler as the Windy Grove side made 106-9, but the south Craveners were restricted to 95 in reply, with Mudassar Riaz (5-25) doing most of the damage.

In another inter-divisional game, Haworth II lost out to 4B Cowling II by 55 runs in Bronteland, Sajid Shafait (50 and 4-25) being the visitors' man of the match.

Division 4A Hepworth & Idle II were far too strong for 4B Cononley II, winning by 157 runs.

Glen Pinkney top-scored with 39 as the Westfield Lane side made 197, Paul Hogg (5-28) being the pick of eight bowlers used.

Colin Whitehead (7-15) and Dan Wooler (3-20) then had the home side back in the hut for a paltry 40.

The top two in section 4B, Skipton CI II and Gargrave II, met at Sandylands and it was the hosts who came out on top by three wickets in a low-scoring game.

The Skipton Road side were restricted to 93-9, with Dean Pompey and Avais Nawaz taking three wickets each.

Jonathan Sharpe (32) was the mainstay of the successful reply as Chris Smith took 4-27.

There was a tie at Bronte Fields between Bingley Congs III and Long Lee II.

Craig Pullen made 42 as the Golden View side closed on 134, with Asher  Nutting taking 5-42.

The home side’s Ben Nattrass then made 76 before they too were dismissed for 134, with Simon Webster claiming 5-38 and Neil Kennedy 4-32.
