HAWORTH’S Molly Rhodes reached the last eight of the under-11 girls' category in the Butterfly English Schools’ Individual Championship finals in Wolverhampton.
The Lees Primary School pupil defeated second seed Alana Mansfield 3-0 on her way to topping her group.
However, the Halifax Table Tennis Club member lost out to Lucy Vernon in the quarter-finals at Aldersley Leisure Village, which attracted 326 players across four age groups in eight competitions.
The following day, Molly was runner-up in the Stiga Two-Star Under-11s Tournament at Blackpool Table Tennis Club.
