EIGHT members of the Horizon Taekwondo Academy, which has clubs in Silsden and Keighley, have been training with world No 1 Aaron Cook.
Thomas Henley, Jamie Simpson-Kidd, Zak Spencer, Gary Watt, Ellie Bowden, Charlotte Banks and Hannah and Jason Perry took part in a three-hour training in Liverpool with the five-times European champion, who is on course to qualify for the 2016 Rio Olympics. The training session was attended by ten different clubs.
The students are competing at the Yorkshire 1 on 1 competition at Bradford’s Richard Dunn Sport Centre this weekend, which is being hosted by Horizon Taekwondo Academy.
