Moorends Thorne Marauders 0 Keighley Albion 44
ALBION were on top from the first whistle in terrible conditions, Reece Robertson scoring an interception try from 30 metres within the first few sets.
Alfie Seeley converted before Robertson quickly added his second in the corner, finishing a good passing move.
Liam Bowness was next on to the score-sheet, scooting his way over as Seeley added the extras again.
Seeley bagged a try of his own with a jinking run from ten metres out to score under the posts and his conversion made it 22-0 at half-time.
The second half started as strongly as the first for Keighley, Jamie Stephenson setting up Robertson for his hat-trick and Seeley tagging on two more points.
Bowness powered his way over from acting half for his second and this was followed up by a simple passing move as Stephenson found a hole in the Marauders defence to add to the total.
The rout came to an end when Ben Benfield latched on to to a cross-field kick from Meegan to offload for the supporting Jack Kennedy to score and Seeley converted.
Albion’s man of match was full back Alex Young, who never stopped all game.
Keighley have no game on Saturday while Worth Village, whose Division Six West clash at Clayton A was postponed last week, head to Wyke A.
