BAKER Mike – Mike Armstrong – hopes to raise plenty of 'dough' for charity.
He's staging a baking demonstration in support of Airedale Hospital and Community Charity.
Mike, who writes the popular weekly Food and Drink feature for the Keighley News, will showcase a number of recipes.
There will also be stalls from businesses including Peonies Cafe, Charlie’s Wooden Crafts and Three Little Birds Bakery.
The Ready, Steady, Bake! event is at Laycock Village Hall on March 3. It starts at 1pm, with demonstrations from 2pm.
Mike says: "I've committed myself to supporting Airedale Hospital and Community Charity as a big 'thank you' for all the care my family and I have received from the hospital.
"This is a fantastic opportunity for me to fundraise and give back to Airedale and the NHS, through my passion for baking."
Laura Hepworth, the charity's community fundraiser, says: "Learning new recipes is the perfect way to kick off the start of spring.
"We’re so grateful to be joined by expert Baker Mike, who has been so supportive of our charity."
Early-bird tickets are currently available at £10, before a £12.50 standard price applies.
