A KEIGHLEY community centre has received a boost.
The Good Shepherd Centre has been presented with £140, raised through a members' collection at the annual general meeting of Keighley and Ilkley Constituency Labour Party.
Constituency chair, Adrian Farley, says: "The Good Shepherd Centre does lots of great work throughout Keighley.
"I’ve seen first-hand the work it does, and therefore it’s a charity close to my heart.
"As a Labour Party, we're always pleased to support such worthy causes in any way we can."
He presented a cheque to centre manager, Dorota Plata.
The Good Shepherd Centre – based in West Lane – offers a wide range of community provision, and last year was praised in Parliament for its work helping Ukrainian refugees settling in this area.
Its offering ranges from free classes to a parent and toddler group, drop-in advice and advocacy, and social events.
