SUPERMARKET worker Nick Kitchen has braved the shave to the tune of more than £300.
The keen Bradford City and Arsenal supporter had his head shaved to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Nick, 37, who works at Asda in Keighley, has raised at least £340 online but still has some sponsorship money to collect from friends.
He sprayed his hair green before heading to Crowns barbers in Bingley and put green face paint on afterwards. Then it was off to a Bradford City match to show off his new look.
Nick took part in the Brave the Shave fundraising campaign in memory of his Uncle Ian, who died from cancer.
He said: “I want to thank Richard at Crowns for doing the head shave for free and the give me £20 towards Brave the Shave.
“There’s hardly any hair left, the razor was less than a ‘number one’. I like the new look.”
A film about Nick’s ordeal can be seen on YouTube by typing My Brave The Shave Saturday 17th September into the search box.
