A KEIGHLEY canine charity has issued a plea for help.
Aireworth Dogs in Need is desperately seeking more foster homes.
And a special event is being held next month where people can find out more.
A spokesman for the charity said: "Over the past few months our rescue has grown tremendously.
"There isn't a day goes by when we aren't asked to take more than one dog.
"In order to do this, we desperately need more fosterers.
"Fostering saves lives – it gives a dog the stepping stone we need to assess it before we can rehome.
"If anyone has ever wondered about fostering, please come along to our event and have a chat with some of the team."
The event takes place at the Brown Cow, off West Lane, Keighley, on October 17, 7.30pm for an 8pm start.
