RIDDLESDEN Scouts took part in an emotion-charged visit to First World War sites during a summer camp in Belgium.
The group of 29 youngsters and leaders spent a week in the country, staying at De Kluis, near Leuven.
They visited Brussels, where they had a private audience with the artisan chocolatiers of Planeté Chocolate; took part in adventurous activities such as BMX riding and tree climbing; enjoyed Wailbi Theme Park and met other Scouts from across Europe.
But the highlight for many was a day spent exploring the ramifications of the First World War, culminating in the laying of a wreath during the Last Post ceremony in Ypres.
Leader Daniel Mosby said: "This was an emotional experience for the young people, with many finding family connections to those commemorated in Ypres."
Scout groups across Keighley have places for boys and girls, aged six upwards, to start next month.
