AN OAKWORTH farmer was among the winners at the Great Yorkshire Show.
Jonathan Collier, of Denby Hill, took the honours in the lamb carcase competition.
The carcase was bought by Chris Herd, owner of C&L Herd Butchers at Ingrow.
"The Colliers have been producing and showing high-quality meat for the last 25 years – this includes nine champions all home-reared," said Mr Herd, this year's Keighley Show president.
"To demonstrate our support to the local community, we purchased the first-prize carcase out of 20 entries to sell at our business.
"I am a proud supporter of locally-reared meat."
