A KEIGHLEY bank has coined-in cash for Manorlands.

Staff and customers at the Towngate branch chose the Oxenhope Sue Ryder hospice as its charity of the year.

And after a host of activities throughout the past 12 months, a £1,897 cheque has been handed over.

Colleagues took part in the Manorlands Starlight Hike and held events including raffles and bake and book sales.

Branch manager Rachel Bell said: "We are delighted to raise this money for such a fantastic local cause.

"We would like to thank our customers for their continued support."

Tribute was paid by Manorlands senior fundraiser for Keighley, Andrew Wood, who said the TSB team had smashed an original target of £500.

"We were delighted to be chosen as the TSB's charity of the year and to receive this huge donation is fantastic," he added.

"We're grateful to the hard-working staff and to all the customers who contributed."
