YOUNGSTERS at East Morton CE Primary School welcomed a special guest for breakfast – the Bishop of Bradford.
The Right Rev Toby Howarth joined Key Stage 2 pupils for a Christian Aid Week Big Brekkie.
"The children were really excited to hear that the Bishop would be joining them," said a school spokesman.
"We are very grateful to Sainsbury's for kindly donating sausages and beans for the event and Morris Bakers for providing the bread."
Bishop Toby, who visited last Wednesday (May 18), said: "It's fantastic that children can support Christian Aid, learning about the difficulties of poverty but having fun at the same time.
"Congratulations East Morton Primary School!"
Youngsters in reception and Key Stage 1 had their Big Brekkie two days earlier.
The school raised nearly £300 for the Christian Aid appeal.
