CANALSIDE walkers have coined-in cash for Manorlands.
They covered a route of over 25 miles from Leeds to Naylor's brewery at Cross Hills.
About 20 people – collectively called Team Towpath – took part in the challenge, over seven hours.
They raised £1,242 for the Oxenhope Sue Ryder hospice.
"It was a lot more challenging than I thought it was going to be!" said Rachel Hargreaves, who organised the event with friend Rebecca Barrett.
"Everyone who took part did amazingly well.
"I would like to say a huge thank-you to all our friends and family who participated and to everyone who helped us."
Three years ago the pair – former pupils of South Craven School, Cross Hills – tackled a parachute jump for the hospice, raising nearly £2,000.
Rebecca said: "The walk was another great opportunity to raise money for the amazing cause which Manorlands is."
Hospice fundraiser Andrew Wood thanked the friends for their continued support.
