A FUN day at Keighley Leisure Centre on Monday will have special significance for one staff member.
The event, from 10am to 4pm, is raising money for Bradford and Airedale Kidney Patients Association and Kidney Research.
Both charities are close to the heart of receptionist Julie Dobson, who is currently awaiting a kidney transplant.
"They are both really important to me personally, as I have been dealing with kidney disease all my adult life," she said.
"I am amazed at the support we have received so far for the fun day – from customers, businesses and the general public.
"And I am especially grateful to the staff at the leisure centre, who have worked really hard and given their free time in organising the event."
The fun day will include badminton, table tennis, squash, a bouncy castle, swimming lesson taster sessions and the chance to learn how to become a lifeguard.
There will also be cake stalls, tea and coffee, pie and peas, face painting and a sponsored staff bike event.
Tickets, priced £4 for adults and £2.50 for children, are available from the leisure centre reception.
