VISITORS flocked to Keighley Model Railway Club's latest open day.
About 14 layouts were in operation at Sunday's event, at the clubrooms in Keighley Business Centre, South Street.
Steve Ward – for the club – said the spring open day would normally be held in May, but the earlier date had proved a huge success.
"It clashed with various other events in May so we decided to bring it forward – and that proved a good thing," he added.
"The number of visitors was up. We were very pleased.
"We had people from model railway clubs as far afield as Leeds and above Settle.
"All age groups were present, but there were quite a few children, which was great."
The club, which has more than 80 members, stages its next event – another open day – on July 10.
