COWLING Primary School pupils made a splash at the South Craven Swimming Gala.
It took top honours, beating Kildwick, Cononley, Sutton CP, Sutton CE, Glusburn, Lothersdale and Cowling.
Headteacher Sue Marshall said: "There were some very strong swimmers from all the schools and it was a great event with lots of parents and relatives cheering on the children.
"Our children swam brilliantly and we are extremely proud of them all. At Cowling, both school and parents, invest significantly to cover the cost of swimming lessons as we believe it is not only a fun way of exercising but also a vital life-saving skill."
