YOUNG wizards flocked to Keighley Library as it took part in international Harry Potter last week.
The North Street library bustled with fans of the famous fictional boy wizard for magical craft and writing activities.
Around 400 children are estimated to have taken part in events on Thursday at libraries across Bradford district.
Christinea Donnelly, Bradford Libraries’ development officer for young people, hailed the Keighley event a success.
She said: “A wizard time was had by all. The children made their potions, waved their wands and had an awful lot of fun.
“Harry Potter books are really popular throughout our libraries. They have stood the test of time and there popularity seems to grow with the children.
“I think Harry Potter crosses between parents, children and grandparents. Library staff got into it too.”
The Keighley library activities included a chance to make Pygmy Puffs and Hedwigs, based on animals from the Harry Potter books, and dressing up as Harry Potter characters.
