A SILSDEN man and two of his friends aim to between them complete 30 instalments of an arduous physical challenge to help people with cancer.
Damon Reece, 40, is one of the three men raising cash for Macmillan Cancer Support. Mr Reece's sister Laura Reece, 30, was recently diagnosed with an aggressive form of breast cancer.
Mr Reece, of Kent Avenue, and his friends Gavin Ranton, from Sutton and Phil Biggs, also from Silsden, are between them taking part in 30 of the notoriously exhausting Tough Mudder events during 2015.
They are running some of these demanding 12-mile obstacle courses as individuals, and some as a team.
Mr Ranton and Mr Biggs each completed this course in London earlier this month and all three men will run as a team at a Tough Mudder in Scotland on May 30.
Together they are hoping to raise more than £2,000 for Macmillan.
People can support their combined effort online by visiting the 15+ Tough Mudder Challenge page on the Justgiving website.
