Keighley firefighters tackle early-morning skip blazes
FIREFIGHTERS were called out to tackle two skip blazes in Keighley early this morning.
The first incident was at land in Ingrow Lane at 2am.
And as soon as the crew arrived back at the Keighley station, it was despatched again to deal with a fire in the yard of FB Guest coal merchants off Dalton Lane.
Fire chiefs say both blazes had been started deliberately.
"We used a hose reel on each and contained the flames to the skips – there was no damage to any property," a spokesman said.
