MYSTERY surrounds the discovery of a woman’s body in Keighley.
The body was found in bushes behind Vernon Hall off Skipton Road by a member of the public at around 3.55pm yesterday.
Emergency services were at the scene, including police cars, police vans, ambulance and the fire service.
Forensic officers were also at the scene to investigate the death.
It is not known whether or not there are any suspicious circumstances surrounding the death.
Vernon Hall, which is divided up into flats, was cordoned off by police last night.
It is not clear if the woman was a resident of Vernon Hall.
Residents of Vernon Court, which is located next to Vernon Hall, last night spoke of their shock at the discovery.
Ash Siddique said: “I’m completely shocked and surprised. You do not expect anything like that to happen round here.”
