A KEIGHLEY mum's newly born baby girl means she and her family can now celebrate being able to gather together five generations of girls and women.
Cleo Sloan was born at Airedale Hospital to Sheldon Wright and her partner Josh Sloan on February 8.
Sheldon, 18, a former Holy Family Catholic School pupil, lives in Braithwaite and is planning to begin training to become a baker.
Her mum is Barbara Taylor, 35, who also has one other daughter and a son.
Barbara is in turn the daughter of 53-year-old Anne Simmonds, who works at Braithwaite's Rainbow Children's Centre.
Anne's mother is 78-year-old Sylvia Hooper who was born in Worth Village and now lives in Guard House.
Barbara said the whole family comes from Keighley. "We're all still living quite close to each other in Keighley, which is nice," she added.
"It does seem a bit strange to now have five generations of the family around. When the midwife visited even she thought it was very unusual."
