RAILWAY Children star Sally Thomsett is back filming on the Keighley and Worth Valley line on Thursday in a BBC TV tribute to the classic film.
As part of a series on great British films, cameras from the One Show will rolling as she, KWVR president Anne Cryer and Keighley mayor Graham Mitchell recall its making in 1970.
Author and Railway Children expert Jim Shipley said there would then be a private screening of the film for invited guests at Oakworth station in the afternoon.
"Basically, the BBC's One Show is running an occasional series on popular films and on Thursday will be going to different Railway Children locations and interviewing people who starred in or were involved in the making of the film," said Mr Shipley, who himself is not scheduled to be part of the programme.
