SAMARITANS volunteers will be at Keighley railway station next week.
They will raise awareness of the round-the-clock help available to people struggling to cope.
And the team will stress to commuters the importance of talking.
Next Thursday's (July 24) event, between 7am and 10am, is one of a series being staged at railway stations across the north as part of the charity's annual 'Talk to Us' awareness month.
Marianne Tharby, for the Samaritans, said: "This opportunity to work with Northern Rail to raise awareness of our service is very much appreciated.
"The Talk to Us campaign is all about getting people to stop and think about the value of talking."
Northern Rail customer service director, Natalie Loughborough, said: "We are proud to work with the Samaritans as part of a partnership with Network Rail to reduce suicides on the railways.
" A fatality on the railway has a massive impact on our customers, employees, services and the wider community. "
