A SUCCESSFUL partnership between two firms has given a boost to a Keighley school's IT facilities.
Leeds-based IT firm LDD Group linked up with Keighley-based education software provider Webanywhere to enhance provision at Holy Family Catholic School.
LDD provided the school with a range of new equipment including new desktop computers, monitors and a Ruckus wireless internet system.
Webanywhere installed a Virtual Learning Environment platform, that enables teachers to create a personalised learning environment for pupils and give them 24-hour access to resources and activities.
Ian Burrows, ICT co-ordinator at Holy Family, said: “Webanywhere and LDD's consultants have been professional and approachable, and we can be confident that we now have a set-up that is safe and secure against attacks.
“We look forward to continuing our successful partnership with them in the future.”
Daniel Holmes, solutions consultant at LDD, added: “Partnering with Webanywhere is great for both companies as it allows us to offer a complete package to schools. This in turn makes life much easier for them as they don’t need to employ several contractors and ensures they receive the latest, future-proofed technology."
Luke Tillotson, e-learning consultant at Webanywhere, said: “LDD were recommended to us by a satisfied customer in the education sector and we've been impressed with the highly professional and flexible approach they take to a client brief. They offer value for money and take a holistic approach."
